A 15-inch iPad Pro is expected

Work is underway on the 15-inch iPad Pro: what surprises Apple has in store

This year’s Amazon Echo Show 15 could see the unveiling of an iPad with a 15-inch display. Let’s try to figure out what to expect from this new product. Compared to developments from other smart speaker manufacturers, Apple’s achievements in this area are more than modest. According to Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP), a reputable research company, the tech giant has a very modest market segment for such speakers (only 5%). The leader in this area is Amazon with a 69 per cent share, while Google is second with a quarter of the market.

A 15-inch iPad is simply a necessity.

It should be noted that there is no smart display in Apple’s line-up and experts believe that the company needs to look into launching an iPad with a larger screen, maybe 15 inches. There are reports that Apple’s designers and engineering departments are already working on such a device, and chances are that a larger iPad will hit the market in a few years.

Why this shouldn’t be expected before the end of the year is explained by the planned release of a new iPad Pro model. But more about that later, but for now let’s get back to the 15-inch iPad.

Apple is working on a 15-inch iPad Pro

Thanks to the App Store, Apple could have a very big advantage over Amazon. But the right thing to do would be to make it possible not only to run Mac software, but also to provide multitasking, as is the case with Apple computers. In addition to the App Store, it should be possible to use a device on a chipset with high power and high speed, as well as installing a better camera.

Experts suggest that Apple is planning to create a larger iPad. It will be thicker so that it can support higher power speakers. There may be a landscape camera orientation, a rear-facing plug, and support for wall mounting.

Apple’s 11 and 12.9 inch tablets are currently being prepared.

An updated iPad Pro with 11-inch and 12.9-inch LED mini-displays is tentatively expected to arrive before the end of the year.

The 15-inch iPad is capable of performing two functions: it can be placed on a table in the living room, for example, or carried around as a tablet outside the home.

Apple could create a device with these features, but it would be too expensive. Plus, a smart display needs a good virtual assistant, similar to Google’s assistant or Alexa. Siri is not considered to be of such a high level of assistant.

As mentioned above, the new iPad Pro with 11-inch and 12-inch screens, LED mini-displays, Mag-Safe wireless charging support and split battery life via reverse charging will be unveiled shortly.
